Job Scopes:

  • Report to the Regional Finance Director
  • Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and financing functions.
  • Oversee the group reporting and review the financial and management reporting functions for the entities within Asia-Pacific on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Prepares the group consolidated accounts and review financial reports by respective in-country finance team.
  • With the ongoing acquisition plans, you will work with IT ERP team to support in projects to integrate and set-up new entities as well as system upgrade within the Group.
  • Handle statutory audit, which includes preparation of financial statements as well as liaise with external auditors.
  • Identify weak internal controls and propose mitigating measures to strengthen these areas.
  • Handle tax matters which would include the quarterly GST filing as well as corporate tax.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Degree and CPA/CA qualified with more than 7 years of working experience in the areas of group consolidation work either on review or preparer level.
  • Hands-on, resilient and able to work with stakeholders with different cultural background across the region.
  • Strong communication skill with good knowledge in IFRS and tax regulations.
  • Technically competent, meticulous, able to work under tight datelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional numerical and analytical skills
  • Detailed understanding of finance processes and proven track record in delivering finance processes streamlining and standardization.
  • Excellent PPT/presentation skills are required as the role involves regular reporting to the senior management team.
