Position Function Summary: This role is responsible for undertaking planning and budgeting, business case analysis, pricing and all financial information required by the business. It is the interface between Sales and the Operations teams, providing financial advice to drive operational excellence, policy governance and improve profitability. Countries that this role covers include all major APAC countries such as Greater China, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. The office is located at Novena Square. Primary Role Responsibilities: Business Partnership: Provide financial support to APAC Commercial Organization leadership team and its functional heads to drive strategy, guide timely and informed business decision to meet or exceed full P&L plan (including headcount planning and smart investments to optimize ROI). Drive and manage forecasting cycle, target setting, performance reports and tracking. These include leading regular meetings with Sales, Order Management and Credit Management teams on pipeline analysis, understanding of revenue recognition criteria applicable, and identify risks impacting forecast accuracy. Prepare timely reports and analysis to provide financial insights for business reviews. Require the ability to interpret results, finance processes and accounting policies to non-finance members, identify potential risks and opportunities in business performance. Support Customer Data Management which focuses on sell-out analysis, approving click & claim transactions, support segmentation reporting, and ongoing communication with stakeholders for any questions regarding issues, actual results and targets. Work closely with Asia Pac Credit Management team on credit issues and collaborate with Cebu Order Management, Collections teams where necessary. Participate in discussions with customers and partners to explore options within policy to support the business balanced with credit risk exposure. Review & approve Channel Partners incentives program such as Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and Volume Incentive Rebates (VIR), ensuring adherence to Global Process Policies, be the check and balance to how the MDF are spent and if quota for VIR are set appropriately. Support Commission process on computation of actual results of the elements of measurements. Review, document and standardize existing Marketing programs, Marketing events and lead generation activities across different regions within APAC creating structured and systematic measurements to improve visibility of Marketing investment ROI and drive cost efficiency and ROI improvements. Financial and Governance: Drive Statutory & Tax reporting to comply with local and US GAAP. Review Management books for accuracy for transaction anomalies to be adjusted pre-close. Ensure adherence to the Company's Policies and Procedures, in particular Pricing Policies and Revenue Recognition. Lead and drive a strong governance environment fully in compliance with statutory laws and regulations, Company's Code of Conduct, and assist for any internal audit or control compliance matters. Assist in adherence to contractual terms and conditions by reviewing Contracts & related documents relating to Sales. Review processes as part of continuous improvement to drive simplification and optimization. Other Responsibilities: Utilize multiple financial systems & tools including Workday Adaptive, SAP, CDM, Microsoft Dynamics, and Excel add-in analytical tools to perform core responsibilities. Be the Finance Point of Contact in-country to support and facilitate any local required assistance to regional Finance teams and Cebu Shared Services Organization. Other ad hoc projects/initiatives as required. Competencies ('Good to have') Technical: Manage a full P&L environment Knowledge of multiple-element arrangement accounting and IFRS 15 Contract with Customer/ASC 606 US GAAP and local country GAAP Exposure to pricing Strong governance background Financial modelling and business case analyses Soft: Business acumen and creative solution within risk appetite. Ability to impact and influence to help drive strategy, culture and discipline decision making Independent Strong communication, interpersonal and cross-functional and cultural collaborative skills Intellectual curiosity and strong motivation to grow with the organization Ability to set priorities and work under tight deadline Experience/Expectations: At least 5 years' experience in a Finance role, preferably within a sales and marketing MNC environment. Relevant IT industry is preferred. Geographical coverage of APAC countries Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting.
