THE ROLE Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer of Southeast Asia and Korea Distributor Markets, you will be responsible as a key partner to business unit, providing financial expertise in areas of profit forecasting to deliver business financial objectives. You will lead the end-to-end financial forecasting process in order to co-pilot the business to over-achieve its financial goals and strategies. You will be providing insight through accurate financial forecasting and analysis for management review to define action steps for the business to capture opportunities and minimize risks. You will be responsible for managing the performance of business’s P&L, Balance Sheet and cash related items as well as leading local projects and initiatives

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Co-pilot business leaders by providing accurate profit forecast in commercial context and identify business risks and opportunities to enable decision-making for the multi-functional teams to over-achieve business targets in line with channel and brand strategies.
• Lead profit forecasting process, variance analysis and business reviews as well as month end process including P&L, B/S, cash actuals validation and analysis.
• Lead both short-term and long-term financial budgeting and planning exercise for the market in order to identify elements that must be true for the market to achieve its financial target and ambition.
• Provide visibility on Cash measures including DSO, overdue as well as recommendations for improvement.
• Lead the optimization of gross margin via specific ‘where to play’ from market / channel / brand mix aspect as part of Strategic Revenue Management.
• Demonstrate Stewardship mind set by ensure accurate, SOX compliant and timely period close processes for P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash
• Build financial capabilities for the internal organization to improve financial acumen to be able to contribute practical application to maximize profit and cash position
• Support budget management needs including T&E, commission

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in Accounting qualification. Minimum 3 years work experience in relevant fields such as analysis, finance, accounting, operations management
• Strong Excel skills with proficiency in Microsoft suites (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SAP
• Demonstrate ability to think holistically, strategically and be able to anticipate outcome required
• Accuracy to detail and thrives under team work environment
• Able to utilize Financial & Accounting principles and financial systems / business tools for data analysis as well as interpreting financial data into commercial context
• Understand complex business challenges and can formulate effective solutions to improve business results
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in writing and verbally, to drive actions and enable excellent execution across multi-functional teams
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills
• Possess positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced business environment
