Your Key Responsibilities:

The Regional Fund Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day accounting for a group of assigned funds including, calculating/reporting the periodic NAV (Net Asset Value), and compiling standard weekly and/or monthly financial statements, and income and expense accruals and perform the required reconciliations. They will work with fund managers and other relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) to provide accounting specific support and analysis. The Fund Accounting Specialist may also liaise with internal and/or external service providers with respect to various aspects of fund administration e.g. subscriptions, redemptions, distributions and payments of fund expenses. Where relevant, they may also provide subject matter expertise on tax related matters and requests for information.

Perform fund finance work to support APAC Illiquid business. Tasks include:
  • Review monthly/quarterly financial and investors\xe2\x80\x99 reports/ regulatory reporting prepared by external fund administrator for APAC alternative funds
  • Review tax filings prepared by tax advisor
  • Ensure timely filing of all regulatory reporting
  • Coordinate external and internal audit
  • Oversea operations of the funds on both fund and SPV level including various controls and payment processing
  • Coordinate to set up new funds/investment structures to support transaction teams
  • Assist in acquisition/divestment process
  • Support ad hoc management reporting and analysis for Alternative business
  • Manage external vendors like Fund administrator/auditors/ tax advisors on behalf of funds/SPVs.
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree and/ or with CPA, CMA, or Chartered Accountant qualified
  • With 5 years financial accounting/ fund administration experience required, working in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Extensive experience in real estate industry, sustainable investments, along with strong operations / accounting experience
  • China exposure is a must
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders, both internal and external, across a wide variety of functions
  • Superior relationship management, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding analytical, process management, and presentation skills
  • Proactive attitude, commitment to continuous learning, willing to challenge the status quo to improve processes
  • Creative self-starter with strong initiative, ability to take ownership and work independently, as well as contribute to the broader global team
  • Ability to multi-task and be hands on in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines under pressure
