Client Background:Our client, a global Chemical MNC Organization.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Logistics Management: Lead and implement strategic initiatives related to regional hubbing, consolidation, and SSC operations to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Regional Hubbing Expertise: Oversee and enhance regional hubbing operations to ensure smooth consolidation of goods and efficient distribution across multiple locations.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage advanced data analytics to assess logistics performance, identify trends, and implement improvements for cost reduction and efficiency.
Supplier & Forwarder Negotiation: Manage relationships with forwarders and third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring favorable terms and service levels.
Logistics Software Proficiency: Utilize Shipsta or other logistics management software to streamline operations, track shipments, and enhance supply chain visibility.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and elevate the overall performance of the supply chain function.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
20 years in a leadership role within logistics, regional hubbing, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of strategic accomplishments in the B2B (chemical/manufacturing/industrial) sector.
Expertise in data analytics, logistics software and negotiation with forwarders and 3PLs.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to manage complex logistics operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in managing large-scale regional logistics networks or hubbing operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor teams.
