Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Minimum 7-8 years of Digital Content & Ad Sales experience (Online Media Sales): The candidate should have a strong background in digital content and advertising sales, with a proven track record of success in the field.
  • Strong relationships with digital media agencies, media buyers, and digital marketing teams at direct advertisers: The candidate should have established connections and networks within the industry, enabling them to effectively collaborate with agencies, buyers, and marketing teams.
  • Content ideation and storytelling skills: The candidate should be skilled in generating creative content ideas and be capable of crafting compelling stories that help build and enhance brands.
  • Experience in closing branded content campaigns/deals, combo deals like Digital + TV, and content syndication deals independently: The candidate should have prior experience in successfully closing various types of deals, including branded content campaigns, integrated digital and TV deals, and content syndication deals.
  • Proficiency in analyzing market trends and providing critical inputs for business development initiatives and marketing strategies: The candidate should possess strong analytical skills to assess market trends and provide valuable insights for the formulation of selling and marketing strategies.
  • Brand Integrations in Video Content and Sponsorship sales for Exclusive content: The candidate should have experience in integrating brands into video content and securing sponsorship deals for exclusive content.
  • Effective communication and proven managerial abilities: The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to effectively lead and manage teams, as well as collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to aggressively chase sales targets and drive new client acquisition: The candidate should be highly motivated and results-oriented, capable of proactively pursuing sales targets and acquiring new clients.
  • Strong ability to identify, research, and target potential business prospects to increase market share: The candidate should have a knack for identifying and researching potential business prospects, enabling them to target and convert leads to expand market share.

  • Build and maintain client relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with digital media agencies, media buyers, and direct advertisers. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with their goals.
  • Close deals and negotiate agreements: Take ownership of the sales process, from initial contact to deal closure. Utilize persuasive sales techniques and negotiation skills to secure branded content campaigns, combo deals, and content syndication agreements. Ensure favorable terms and conditions for all parties involved.
  • Ideate and pitch compelling content strategies: Collaborate with clients to understand their branding objectives and create innovative content ideas that align with their target audience. Develop persuasive pitches and presentations that showcase the value of content integration and storytelling.
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the digital advertising space. Analyze market data and performance metrics to provide valuable insights and recommendations for business development initiatives and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with internal teams such as creative, production, and account management to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. Provide clear instructions, guidelines, and feedback to ensure the delivery of high-quality content and exceptional client experiences.
  • Monitor campaign performance: Track and analyze the performance of digital content campaigns, providing regular reports to clients on key metrics, ROI, and campaign effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement and optimization, making recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance: Maintain knowledge of industry regulations, privacy policies, and advertising standards to ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines in all sales and marketing activities.
  • Stay updated on digital advertising technologies: Keep abreast of new digital advertising technologies, platforms, and trends. Identify opportunities for integrating innovative ad formats, programmatic advertising, and audience targeting to enhance campaign effectiveness and deliver superior results to clients.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. Build relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and thought leaders to foster partnerships and stay connected with the latest industry developments.
