We are looking for a senior leader within the Merchandising field, to join our Region APAC Team based in Singapore.



As Regional Merchandise Manager you lead the Omni regional merchandising function towards extraordinary results. You contribute to maximizing profitable sales and growth across your region by meeting the customer demand throughout our sales touchpoints.

Based in Singapore, you would set the Omni Merchandising Strategy across the Region consisting of Greater China, South Korea and South East Asia.

Your Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for long-term strategy and development within regional stock, reductions/mark-downs, allocation and inventory optimization.
• Optimize and manage all sales channels from a merchandising perspective to ensure and enable an outstanding growth and profitability short- and long term.
• You lead your teams in short-term operational activities to ensure a healthy relationship between supply and demand in each market and channel.
• Adopt the global commercial plan to a best-in-class local offer in partnership with regional sales team.
• Drive local market needs towards global stakeholders to give your customer a relevant offering.
• Ensure an Omni-channel perspective in all commercial activities.
• Identifying new customer needs and changes in customer behaviour and drive actions to exceed customers' expectations.
• Understand customer behavior impact on demand and supply actions accordingly.
• Create and drive tactical activities for the local customer based on global commercial and reduction strategy.
• Partners with Global Merchandising Team to coach and develop your team members in succession and development planning.
• Constantly hunt for and act on new opportunities to grow customers, sales and profit.

Qualifications

What you will need to succeed:

• 3+ years experience in leading a team.
• 5+ years experience in Merchandising.
• Strong business sense and entrepreneurial spirit as well as a drive to achieve strong results, both long term and short term.
• Strong analytical skills, possessing the ability to filter and prioritize what will make a difference.
• Action-oriented and pragmatic: Strong ability to transform plans into actions, constantly hunting for and finding potential and improvements.
• Commercial: ability to understand how to drive customer offer and merchandising operations to achieve outstanding sales & profit. Experience from buying is meriting in this role.
• Passion for the customer and business, as well as a curiosity for the world, the customer and the customer behaviour.
• Proven leader with an ability to lead teams in a fast paced environment.
