Regional Operator Relations Manager
to join our team and chase the answers and chase the dream with us.
Role And Responsibilities
As a
Regional Operator Relations Manager
you will be an integral part of our Operator-facing commercial team, reporting to Head of Operator Sales & Partnerships for APAC region.
Your objective will be managing and driving sales of Sinch business services with existing operator partners, acquiring and managing new operator partners, and ensuring that Sinch's partnerships with these operators are optimised over time.
As Regional Operator Relations Manager You Will
Identify joint Sinch opportunities, beyond A2P SMS and RCS termination, with mobile operators in your region and work together with the wider Sinch sales team to develop and close opportunities for Sinch's operator portfolio of products and services.
Formulate business plan and pipeline to achieve commercial KPIs as set for your accounts.
Drive the end-to-end processes from identifying key persons, initial contact, building trust and agreement signature with target operators.
Drive the process with the Sinch technical team to set-up new connections post signature of agreement, resolve operational situations among others
Working closely with other functional groups to manage message routing, billing & settlement and support Enterprise Sales teams projects/initiative/challenges
Closely follow regional industry developments, and formulate plans for communication enhancement services with operators such as A2P Monetisation, RCS, Mobile Identity and others to ensure that Sinch is at the forefront of utilising such services.
The successful candidate is a natural networker and comfortable working with decision makers on all levels, including both technical and commercial. You have excellent writing, presentation and communication skills and take full ownership of the results.
This is you if you have:
5-10 years of experience from sales or other commercial roles, towards mobile operators in the region.
Good business acumen and able to manoeuvre/ manage complex deal such as exclusive A2P Monetisation
High EQ and excellent relationship skills to manage cross cultural differences within Sinch Global and regional teams
Experience in messaging (A2P/P2P/MMS), voice, CPASS or related wholesale services.
Determined, self-starter and analytical with excellent communication skills
Degree in business or similar field.
Established C-Level / senior management network from the industry and region.
Able to travel as required and on need basis
Fluency in English both written and spoken.

You will stand out in the crowd if you have:
Had worked more than 3-5 years in Mobile Network Operators with regional commercial/sales/product responsibilities
Good knowledge and won deals in A2P Monetisation with contacts to key decision makers
A solid technical and commercial understanding gained from a commercial role in a technology company.
Experience working in an international environment.
Knowledge additional languages, specifically Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia
