This role will report to the Order Operations Manager, South Asia. Collaborating closely with Waters Global Operations team and local country team, Order Operations Specialist will be critical in supporting business growth and new business models, harmonizing best practices, optimizing operations process, improving efficiency, and increasing customer satisfaction across the region. Critical success factors for this role include order management, logistics operations, business analysis, excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about ensuring customer satisfaction, work objectively and execute daily routine tasks with great attention to details and accuracy to achieve the desired results in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Process orders in full cycle from order entry to invoicing accurately with accordance to Waters guidelines and policies. Liaise with relevant internal and external parties to manage and resolve all issues relating to order fulfilment and as directed by team leader/manager. To ensure all necessary documentation is in place to enable transit from origin to destination without delays and in accordance with customer need and foreign trade regulations. Provide Risk Management on orders and sales backlog by working closely with business leaders, finance, legal and Compliance. Supply chain management and demand planning: SAP Ordering Process and close collaboration with Global Operations team to ensure efficient operation between distribution center and customers. Ensure backlog is managed efficiently with no past due status. Close monitoring of all backlogs to expedite deliveries on timely manner. Import and Export. Insightful understanding of Customs regulation and provide solutions to business and customers to manage and mitigate risks. Liaise with freight forwarders to coordinate shipment and on time delivery. Inventory and warehouse daily activities. Provide post-sales support such as physical return, replacement and others. Customers management including enquiries, orders, payments, and all customer services related areas to follow up to closure. Excellent knowledge on Letter of Credit and Cash against Documents related processes. Review and ensure smooth co-ordination & preparation of Letter of Credit documentation requirement for submission to the bank for LC presentation. Support the team and perform cross functional activities when necessary. Perform back-up / standby duties as needed to ensure smooth daily Order Operations to support business growth. Any ad-hoc duties as assigned. Qualifications Min Diploma in engineering, logistic, commercial management, or relevant certification in supply chain field Min 5 years MNC working experience in order operations/logistics Proficient in office software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with knowledge of financial and ERP systems (SAP, AO, Salesforce) Proficient in quantitative analysis and problem solving Strong sense of responsibility, ability to handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision in a pace environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in reading Korea language will be a distinct advantage.
