POSITION SUMMARY:

We are searching for an open-minded Regional Product Line Manager, Automotive Replacement (AR) to operate effectively in a matrix environment. You will own the development and implementation of regional product line strategic plans for the automotive replacement market. The person should have a proven track record. We are only shortlisting enterprising individuals who want to be part of a growing company.

THE ROLE

You will own the development and implementation of regional product line strategic plans.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accountability #1: Customer (End Users)

• Develop in-depth understanding of market dynamics (market size, growth rate, threats, opportunities) through market research, VOC survey (calls, field investigations).
• Visit plants and suppliers to maintain current knowledge and expertise of manufacturing process.
• Continually analyze and interpret customer questions, requirements, or problems.

Accountability #2: Process / Performance

• Develop and implement differentiation product strategies and initiatives to drive profitable growth.
• Oversee and drive product KPIs (Sales, Profitability, Unit Cost, Delivery, Quality accident).
• Continuously optimize product portfolio and drive the entire product lifecycle from ideation to commercialization to end-of-life.
• Provide clear product value proposition to commercial organization and channels for value selling.
• Replicate global best practices within the region.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This is an individual contributor role that works with multi discipline team to drive product line management.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Minimum 10 years\' experience in automotive aftermarket industry, deep understanding of automotive aftermarket value chain (from suppliers to end users).
• Proven record in driving cross-functional teams in execution product line strategy.
• Up to 50% travel in ASEAN and India.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Expresses oneself clearly and concisely in both written and oral communications in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic mindset and strong business acumen.
• Possess market research and sales mapping skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills to deliver high quality executive-ready presentations.
