Job Description



This is a Regional Product Manager role to focus on Liquid Handling Instruments & Plastic Consumables

Drive portfolio revenue growth across Southeast Asia/Taiwan with tailored strategies across region

Translate BU & APAC Product strategies into local context to support commercial team

Support direct/distributor sales & product teams with product marketing programs. This is achieved by providing product strategy, tracking plans, supporting customer visits, training channels and giving talks at seminar events

Work closely with APAC commercial managers to understand competitive landscape and build local campaigns which lead to revenue creation

Technically proficient to mentor, train & lead channels in understanding product application, position and market potential

Review pricing required for projects and promotions to ensure Thermo Fisher is positioned for success in the market

Run Marketing initiatives (short & long term) regularly to increase market share for existing products, re-vitalize low penetrated products and launch new products to the market

Handles quality complaints objectively and swiftly; always ensuring the right information is supplied thoughtfully while maintaining good relationship with customers

Together with commercial team, develop key accounts to drive growth in the region. Ability to work closely with key accounts and their KOLs ensuring Thermo Fisher becomes their brand of choice

Understand workflows within the Science field (Cell & Gene Therapy, Bio-banking, Molecular Diagnostic etc.) to be able to sell customer the right products needed for their applications/workflow

Identify and quantify new Liquid Handling market development opportunities within the territory. This can be achieved individually or via alliance programs within Thermo Fisher Scientific

Comfortable at product demonstration, installations and customer trainings as required, depending on the business needs

Partner closely with marketing team to drive offline and online (digital) campaigns

Handle inventory and product forecasting so that internal targets are met, and customer expectations are achieved

Travel extensively within the SEA region (~ 40%)

Background:

Background in Science and/or experience with Liquid Handling/Automation is highly recommended.

Understand Workflows within the Science field (CGT, Biobanking, Molecular Diagnostic etc.) to be able to sell customer the right products needed for their applications. Make Thermo Fisher a one-stop solution for customer

High level of familiarity and competence in computer use; specifically, the Microsoft Office suite of applications - Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook
