Job Description
Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Freight Forwarding sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Regional QHSE & Compliance Manager to be part of their QSHE team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East - easily assessible.
The Regional QHSE & Compliance Manager's responsibles are:
Lead QHSE management systems across Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring compliance with local regulations, ISO standards, and corporate policies. Drive safety culture, conduct audits/inspections, and manage incident investigations with corrective action plans. Oversee import/export compliance, including customs regulations, sanctions, and international trade laws, while advising leadership on compliance risks. Manage subcontractor portfolio covering trucking, transportation, and cargo handling vendors, including procurement, contracts, and audits. Lead and develop a team of QHSE and trade compliance professionals, set KPIs, and promote collaboration and continuous improvement. Build strong relationships with authorities, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Min Degree and above Min 5 years' QSHE experience in a leadership role in logistics / supply chain industry Well-versed in safety, environmental, and trade compliance regulations in Singapore and Malaysia
