Job Description

A global consumer goods client is looking for a seasoned Regional Retail Excellence Director to join its Singapore office.This highly visible leadership role will define best in capability roadmaps for all retail excellence and performance capabilities for its travel retail channels.The Regional Retail Excellence Director will lead and shape the customer experience, develop and deploy global key account competency, and elevate negotiation skills to a strategic level to become the partner of choice.This right-fit candidate comes with deep understanding of the travel retail landscape and the consumer behavior, and a track record of optimising retail operations, elevating shopper experiences, and driving exceptional sales and profitability with partners.Key responsibilities

• Align with overall business objectives to create a comprehensive roadmap for enhancing retail performance across all travel retail channels
• Establish and maintain best-in-class retail operations standards, including merchandising, visual merchandising, client service, and inventory and partners management
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track retail performance and identify areas for optimisations

Key requirements

• Min. 15 years of multi-regional retail operations, retail excellence, and/or retail performance in FMCG/Consumer Product Goods companies
• Deep understanding of the travel retail channel, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape
• Global mindset with experience working in diverse markets and cultures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
• Budgeting and forecasting, commercial and financial acumen
