REGIONAL SALES MANAGER SOUTH ASIA AND SOUTHEAST ASIAFood IngredientsThis is an exciting job opportunity in an international ingredients company.Location: SingaporeFull time, permanentJob Responsibilities

  • Driving business growth on added value products on Ingredients level including new customer acquisition
  • Develop sales strategy to deliver short term success where segments allow, and build long term growth opportunities
  • Realization of budget net sales and profitability of customer accounts
  • Managing distributors and direct customers in assigned markets (India, Indonesia, Malaysia & Thailand)
  • Responsible for keeping Customer Relationship Management application up to date: customer/prospect contact, visit report, opportunity, competition and relevant information
  • Prepare monthly business review, including market insight, competition & segment trend
  • Alignment with supply chain and customers to achieve forecast accuracy and on-time delivery
  • Market mapping in assigned sales area on customer profiling and competitor landscape
  • Contribute to the set-up of the long-term strategic roadmap together with Marketing and R&D
  • To establish an effective and efficient sales (support) organization (including price, promotion and conditions policies), in line with the Sales Strategy, resulting in the agreed upon quantitative and qualitative sales targets/forecasts
  • Examine needs of customers and translate them in opportunities for the Business Group Ingredients
  • In partnership with Technical Service Manager to monitor innovation programs from a customer perspective (run in time, budget, customer requirements)
Qualifications
  • Min. Degree in Food Technology, Business or related field
  • A minimum of 6 years working experience in Business to Business sales
  • Regional exposure in sales/marketing
  • Demonstrated achievement on value added ingredient sales
  • Early Life/Adult Nutrition experience in these markets would be a preferred
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management software is desirable
  • Willingness to travel at 30% to meet the demands of the role and customer interactions
  • Strong drive, positive mind-set and team player
  • Performance and target driven, proven track record
  • Excellent communication and networking skills on diverse levels internally and outside the company
