This is a rare opportunity for a listed Swedish conglomerate in the software digital reality and hardware space. A true blue hunter that has experience in the public safety / telecommunication space will be excellent for this role.

Client Details

Our client is a listed conglomerate that is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. The business carries solutions in both software and hardware that sells into a widespread of industries including energy, heavy machinery, aerospace, chemicals, utilities, transportation, oil and gas, government and many more. The Safety & Infrastructure business provides software for smart and safe cities, enhancing the performance, efficiency, and resilience of critical services. Our client currently has a further interest in expanding this business by hiring a software sales professional who has expertise in the public safety, utilities and / infrastructure segments. This is a rare opportunity with high visibility into the leadership team.

Description

Reporting to the Head of New Business for the Safety & Infrastructure department, your role will be a balance between hunting of new accounts and farming of existing accounts. However said, a genuine hunter will be highly valued in this role as the ASEAN region\'s sales leader, looking for new possibilities of potential projects in the infrastructure, government, transportation, and defence sectors. In order to excel at the role, you\'d be challenged to the following:

  • Being a crucial contact point in the regional business eco-system, and stepping outside of your main responsibilities when deemed necessary for business proactivity
  • Provide timely and reliable reports in accordance with the designated reporting schedule, presenting data in a standardized format suitable for reporting to management and other important sales and marketing stakeholders within the wider organization.
  • Develop a sales execution and GTM strategy for each country within the ASEAN territory
  • Combine an inbound and outbound lead generation strategy
  • Execute marketing camaigns to gain further outreach in new markets, while at the same time, acknowledging new and unique business requirements from customers
  • Cater to customer\'s new demands with solution selling technique, tapping unto the company\'s widespread product portfolio and expertise
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience teams to find process improvement areas and; offer assistance as needed to achieve continual process improvement and cost savings for effectiveness.
Profile
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration / Management, Accountancy, Engineering, or a relevant field
  • Minimum 10 years+ experience in a sales or commercial function in a regional Asia / APAC / SEA function
  • Experience in the public safety domain, utilities or telecommunication domain will be required
  • Experience working with System Integrator is a plus
  • Prior work history in a multifaceted position within a complex matrix reporting environment
  • Autonomous and proactive attitude
  • Demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement and increased engagement
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people
  • Time-management skills; strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines without compromising attention to detail and quality of output
