Job Description


Job Purpose

This role, reporting to the APAC Supply Planning & Inventory Manager, provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to closely collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization.

The candidate will be instrumental in supporting the Asia-Pacific region, covering ANZ, India, China, Japan, Korea, and SEA. Within this expansive geographical scope lie diverse nations characterized by distinct cultures, languages, and economic structures, contributing to a dynamic and multifaceted business and cultural landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

1. Supply Planning

\xc2\xb7Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to support the APAC commercial team in achieving the financial plan and meeting demand requirements.

\xc2\xb7Act as the single point of contact for APAC with the global team on allocation matters.

\xc2\xb7Lead supply and allocation meetings with global planning team.

\xc2\xb7Support global allocation communications and processes within APAC.

\xc2\xb7Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.

\xc2\xb7Participate in APAC Integrated Business Planning (IBP) reviews.

\xc2\xb7Key deliverables for this role: On-Time In Full (OTIF), Backorders, and meeting financial plan targets.

2. Inventory Planning

\xc2\xb7Maintain inventory targets to ensure optimal stock levels.

  • Drive the inventory reduction plan, including inventory rebalancing and redeployment.
  • Drive and govern correct inventory planning parameters.
  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Key deliverables for this role: Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH), Excess and Obsolete Inventory (E&O), and implement improvement strategies as needed.

Essential Skills / Experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply planning and/or inventory management within multinational companies
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain strategies and planning execution, particularly in a regional capacity
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office, with a particular emphasis on Excel skills such as Lookups, PivotTables, Nested formulas, Macro/ VBA Programming, Power Query, Power Pivot etc.
