Job Description

You will be responsible for managing all tax issues and compliance work, including direct and indirect taxes, SOX compliance, monthly tax provisions, tax budgeting, and ensuring compliance for local and US GAAP tax reporting. You\'ll work closely with the CFO, legal, purchasing, and manufacturing departments. Additionally, you\'ll review transfer pricing policies, identify tax planning opportunities, and stay up-to-date with tax developments in the region.

Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all tax issues, including direct and indirect taxes, and ensuring SOX compliance. You will also manage compliance tax work for the group, with a focus on minimizing tax costs.

As part of your responsibilities, you\'ll be responsible for monthly tax provisions, tax budgeting, and ensuring compliance for both local tax reporting and US GAAP tax reporting. You\'ll lead a team in the Asia Division and work closely with the CFO as a business partner.

You\'ll also review transfer pricing policies, liaise with the US tax team on corporate reporting and updates on BEPS development, and identify tax planning opportunities. You\'ll be a business partner to other departments, including legal, purchasing, and manufacturing, and keep abreast of tax developments in the region.

Profile

We are looking for a candidate who has both a strong manufacturing background and expertise in US GAAP. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience at a Big 4 firm is an advantage. Additionally, the ability to read and communicate effectively in Mandarin is a plus.
