-The Opportunity:Adecco is collaborating with a global leader in cloud computing and data center solutions, this company focuses on developing high-performance servers, storage systems, and network devices. It is part of a larger multinational group known for advanced technology and extensive resources. The company provides innovative products and services for industries like IT, telecommunications, and cloud computing.A Regional Trade Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that businesses adhere to industry regulations and government legislation. This role involves monitoring compliance activities, providing guidance to management, and liaising with government agencies. Key duties include identifying potential issues, recommending solutions, and maintaining accurate records. Strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

  • Work location: Tampines
  • Work hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm
  • Salary: up to $6,500 + AWS + VB (1 month)
The Job:
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for merchandise classification and ensure the accuracy of import/export processes.
  • Monitor and collaborate with forwarders, distribution centers, and customers to resolve discrepancies in quantity, seals, and manifests.
  • Advise leadership on compliance matters and collaborate with legal teams to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with government agencies regarding compliance status, permits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs and procedures to maintain compliance across the company.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports while identifying and resolving compliance issues or violations.
  • Maintain and update company records, ensuring all activities comply with industry and regional regulations.
The Talent:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, finance, or a related field (CRCMP certification preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in trade compliance, with strong knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
