Job Title: Regional Trainer APAC


Location: Hong Kong/Singapore (with travel across APAC as needed)


Contract Type: Freelance/Consultant (Initial commitment: 15 to 20 days per quarter with possibility to convert to permanent role at a later stage)


Reports to: Head of Global Financial Intermediaries







Role Summary:


Our client is a well known global investment management and research firm, present in more than 26 countries and 50 cities. Our client is seeking a seasoned freelance consultant to support the implementation and delivery of training programs in APAC. The role is part of a strategic initiative to enhance advisor effectiveness in advisor client interactions.


The incumbent will serve as a trusted representative, facilitating high impact sessions and supporting the location of content for regional relevance. The ideal candidate will have strong facilitation skills, passion for empowering financial advisors and knowledge in behavioral finance, practice management principles and product training methodologies.







Key Responsibilities:


Content Familiarization: Deeply understand the behavioral finance and practice management principles embedded in Advisor's materials. Stay current with updates to Advisor content
- Program Delivery and Facilitation: Deliver key Advisor modules to financial advisors and client facing teams, primarily in HK, Singapore and other APAC markets - both virtual and in person for tailored audience as well as large forums


Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to understand training needs and customize delivery accordingly Localization Support and Partnership and Collaboration with local teams




Qualifications:


Proven experience in learning & development or as trainer, preferably in asset management, private wealth or financial services with knowledge of financial services and the role of advisor Experience working with financial advisors or client relationship team will be a plus Strong presentation and facilitation skills virtually and/or in person, with ability to engage client facing professionals with diverse audiences Familiarity with behavioral finance, practice management or advisor client communication is highly desirable Ability to work independently and manage relationships with professionalism and discretion Fluent in English and Mandarin. Knowledge of Cantonese and other APAC languages are a plus

Engagement Model: Freelance consultancy with quarterly review * Time commitment: Attend virtual training with Advisor in evenings, meeting with stakeholders in APAC and 15 to 20 days per quarter in training delivery
