Assist family members calling on behalf of terminally ill patients regarding Prescriptions, Home Visit Follow Up, Non-Urgent Medical and Test Result Questions
Review the in-basket continuously throughout the day to triage all unread messages
Reach out to patients by telephone for urgent issues and with the local site via telephone or e-mail as needed
Perform appropriate chart reviews and respond directly to patients
Route messages requiring further clinical assistance from the site to the appropriate pool or provider (e.g., requests for changes in medication, new onset medical conditions or symptoms, referrals)
Qualifications:
Active USRN License required
NCLEX Passer
ICU or Emergency Room experience
BPO Experience preferred but not required
Triage Phone handling experience preferred but not required
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including the ability to handle interactions with facility personnel and providers in a professional manner
Sufficient knowledge in Healthcare or Medical domain, hospice care, and home health services
Willing to work on shifting schedule
