Responsibilities:
Performs venipuncture for the collection of blood specimens for dispatch to the laboratory.
Able to perform ECG on patients.
Able to perform Vaccinations on patients.
Able to perform Pap Smear & Vaginal Swab.
Assist the Doctor with General Consultations.
Assist with in-clinic procedures and surgical procedures.
Able to dispense medication/consumables independently.
Sorts and records all blood specimens collected, and ensures that they are correctly labelled, and dispatched to the Laboratory with accuracy and compliance.
Administrative tasks include patient registration, sorting medical reports maintaining accurate patient medical records, and scheduling appointments.
Assist management in improving, identifying, and implementing changes in the work processes of the Phlebotomy and Registered Nursing duties.
Maintaining the required MOH standards of procedures, policies, and practices, as well as patient care and experience.
Continuously upgrading nursing skills and nursing techniques.
Lead, orientate, and guide new Phlebotomist or Nurse.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Superior.
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Nursing
