Responsibilities

Summary: The Regulatory Compliance Group Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our projects comply with all relevant laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines in the oil and gas exploration and production industry.

• Lead and manage a team of Regulatory Compliance Experts and Regulatory Compliance Managers assigned to projects.
• Development and maintenance of standards, procedures, associated systems, processes, work instructions and human resources.
• Promote Regulatory Compliance Vision to internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote a corporate and project organizational culture that supports compliance with policies and regulations.
• Outreach and interaction with Regulatory Bodies. Represent the organization in meetings with regulatory agencies and in regulatory inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, engineering). Advanced Degree is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in regulatory compliance in the oil & gas exploration and production industry.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Ability to analyze complex regulations and laws, and to develop clear and effective compliance policies and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and desire to lead and manage a team.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks and projects.
