Guy Carpenter is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Singapore office:
Reinsurance Actuary (4 months contract) What can you expect:

We will rely on you to:

• Analyze actuarial and financial models
• Model the probability distributions of the gross/ceded/net underwriting results of(re)insurance clients
• Utilize cost/benefit analysis to advise brokers and clients on “optimal” reinsurance programs based on risk tolerance levels
• Respond to client queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or Computer Science
• Prior experience in reinsurance pricing would be a plus. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written
• Excellent communications, presentations and project management skills
• Strong ability to handle significant workflow through efficient time management
• Strong ability to identify and solve potential problems and develop creative solutions
