Job Description


Job Responsibilities:

  • Deepen engagement and relationship levels with existing customers to drive improved revenues for the Bank.
  • Regular calls to actively pursue business opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Effectively understand/identify/assess customer needs, to be able to recommend effective solutions and achieve fruitful cross-sell of the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s products and services viz trade finance, loans, deposits, and foreign exchange treasury products.
  • Perform credit risk assessment on new and existing customers. This would include the timely preparation of periodic and transactional credit proposals in an accurate and well-organized manner, \xc2\xa7 that is supported by sufficient depth of analysis and succinct insights and recommendations.
  • Review and negotiate customer documentation to ensure adherence to the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s risk and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct due diligence on transactions \xe2\x80\x93 including collateral positions, counterparties, market price, shipment details, etc.
  • Vigilantly monitor customer activities (trade volume / ancillary business etc.) to prevent and minimize undue risk of unusual or suspicious activities.
  • Possess awareness and understanding of KYC / AML compliance requirements, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policy guidelines / procedures.
  • Compile and prepare all necessary documentation to establish account / extend facilities.
  • Coordinate day-to-day transactions with Trade Operations and Branch Operations to timely turnaround and good customer service.
  • Prepare credit memos, internal business reports, customer proposals and call reports with accuracy, in a well-organized manner and supported by sufficient depth of analysis and succinct insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate and follow up on day-to-day transactions to ensure customers receive smooth and timely service.
  • Respond to and resolve enquiries / problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular meetings with customers to develop/maintain strong and meaningful engagement.
  • Uphold the highest level of ethical standards and integrity in all activities, including compliance with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent
  • With 8 - 10 years of working experience in relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of trade finance and corporate banking products and procedures
  • Strong credit and financial analysis skills
  • Demonstrated track record in being able to proactively generate solutions and in procuring support from internal stakeholders.
