Relationship Manager (corporate / Commercial Banking)

Job Description


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining and expanding the team\'s international and local corporates. Explore potential business opportunities and provide good customer relationship management and financial services for existing and/or potential target customers, with an emphasis on green/sustainability-linked financing (such as green energy) and on industries which are of strategic importance to Singapore\'s economy.
  • Originate, structure and propose appropriate comprehensive financial services and/or product solutions for new/existing customers.
  • Perform credit initiation, annual reviews and establish loans and/or deposits with target and/or existing customers.
  • Leverage on Bank\'s new/competitive edge products and/or policies to match customers\' needs as well as to cross-sell various products and services to enhance customer stickiness and overall returns for the Bank.
  • Expand and deepen relationships with existing customer groups, and scale up by pursuing business opportunities with existing customers\' third-party buyers and suppliers.
  • Responsible for active risk management and control to monitor and manage various risks including credit risk, operational risk, compliance risk and anti-money laundering risk.
  • Undertake and conduct proactive post-loan management work.
Job Requirements
  • Possess 2-5 years of relevant working experience in Corporate and/or Commercial Banking and adept at various cross-sell (treasury, transaction banking, investment banking/capital markets).
  • Previous experience in structuring and originating green/sustainability-linked transactions preferred.
  • Conscientious worker with positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good communication skills in Chinese and English, and ability to read and write Chinese is preferred in order to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues locally and from Head Office.
  • Committed and collaborative team player.
  • Bachelor degree or above, preferably with major/specialization in finance, accounting, marketing, business management and/or banking.
