Job Description


OCBC NBFI Team provides financial solutions and advisory for clients in the Insurance, Securities Brokers, Finance/Leasing Companies, Exchanges, Regulated Funds (including private capital), Payment Service Providers, Fintech segments.

Products and services offered include:

  • Cash accounts opening & liquidity management solutions
  • Digital payments & collections solutions
  • Treasury solutions with focus on FX, fixed income, equities, interest rates, structured notes and other derivative products
  • Credit facilities (bilateral/syndicated)
  • Public markets (debt & equity) capital raising
  • Banker\xe2\x80\x99s Guarantee & Standby LC
  • Strategic advisory
The NBFI team seeks to position OCBC as the preferred banking partner for NBFIs in Asia through high quality client service and engagement through our regional platform.



Key duties include but are not limited to:
  • Coverage responsibility for a portfolio of NBFIs across multiple sub-segments. Develop strong understanding and market knowledge of the respective clients and segments.
  • Ability to understand regulatory requirements, identify industry trends and form client-centric business proposition across key product offerings.
  • Collaborate with product partners and other regional stakeholders to refine business strategy, up-tier client engagement, develop new product initiatives and drive cross-sell.
  • Put together compelling marketing presentations and clearly communicate the value proposition / recommended solution for new business origination.
  • Increase clients\xe2\x80\x99 adoption of OCBC\xe2\x80\x99s digital payments /collections /banking solutions.
  • Recommend appropriate credit financing solutions (limits, facility structures, pricing, maintenance covenants) across loans and treasury products.
  • Monitor assigned portfolio. Work with credit analyst team to manage annual credit reviews.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, AML-KYC, data quality, etc are in line with OCBC\xe2\x80\x99s policy guidance.
  • Work with the operational support teams to streamline day-to-day process flows and drive continuous improvements in efficiency / effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Law, Engineering or related fields.
  • Recommended 5-10 years of relevant working experience. Sound product knowledge of Trade, Credit, Treasury and Capital Markets would be a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical, writing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is eager to learn
  • Good team player who is driven, pro-active with a positive attitude and comfortable with a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
