Responsibilities: This role will be reports to the Head of Non-Japanese Business Development. The relationship manager is involved primarily in client-interfacing roles of marketing and deal origination.
1) Prospect and develop a new clientele base in line with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s business strategies 2) Market the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s products and services to existing and potential clients. 3) Originate loan transactions, perform due diligence, drive credit and transactional structuring, and negotiate deal terms. 4) Conduct research and prepare presentations and marketing materials. 5) Negotiate loan documentation of loan and security documentation. 6) Prepare and submit credit approval memos to relevant committee members for new loan transactions and ad-hoc credit-related waivers. 7) Service existing clientele in order to maximize returns and earnings for the Bank for each client. 8) Conduct KYC and AML compliance checklists on existing clients and onboarding new clients. 9) Monitor and conduct periodic reviews of the credit portfolio. 10) Manage transaction support of loan roll-over, rate fixing, and ad hoc tasks and reporting. 11) Manage NPL loan assets.
