POSITION PURPOSE

In the context of the APAC Multinational Corporate (MNC) franchise, the Relationship Manager - Japan Desk (RM) is responsible for the management and the development of a portfolio of subsidiaries/ legal entities of Japanese Pilots outside of Japan (across SEA countries and India).


Support local RM to drive client relationship and revenue with Japanese companies in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and India.


There is a significant potential to build the portfolio.


Relationship Manager (and SBO) for Japanese Corporate Clients in Singapore (Japan Desk) is responsible for client relationship/management and revenue. He/She shall engage in credit process and conduct KYC process.


He/She will primarily focus to develop new own client base.

Key Responsibilities




Direct Responsibilities


Overall business development and marketing efforts

Drive profitable growth by acquiring, developing, servicing and managing the portfolio

o Originate new relationships with a strong Pilot level presence.


o Deepen relationship/wallet share with existing clients, cross sell products and increase countries in relationship with the client


o in addition to increasing meaningful new relationships;

To maximize revenues within cost, capital and liquidity constraints to achieve individual budget Develop key strategic partnership with Pilot Bankers for their clients, actively contributing to development of the relationship Responsible for communication flow between Global Relationship Managers (GRM), regional/local business lines and HoTs Disciplined calling program and relationship management, including lodgement of call reports/deals and pipeline in client management system within stipulated timeframe

Risk/credit monitoring and compliance with Bank's policies and regulatory requirement

No overdue for KYC No overdue for credit reviews and no credit loss. Close monitoring of client's credit profile and developments, with prompt update to Risk and management Ensure compliance with Bank's policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, in particular with regards to the KYC responsibilities and duties, as per relevant policies and procedures, and the summary of responsibilities list attached hereto Conformance with all mandatory training requirements and expected BNPP behaviours

Contributing Responsibilities


Contribute to the development of the franchise and share best practices

Refer new business opportunities to other countries when client share such information Within MNC teams, share local experience and success for the benefit of the Regional MNC team Actively participate in local campaigns Contribute to the "Market Intelligence" communicating on inputs received from clients, competitors on new products & pricing and initiate new ideas related to the identification of a client's need Ensure early involvement and participate in roll-out of any new product launch within the country

Experience and qualifications required



Sales/business development experience - Min 7 years' experience preferably in relationship management of MNC clients. Solid presentation and communication skills Track record of delivering on sales budgets and revenue growth Strong ability to develop and effective network of target prospects
