About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Release Manager to oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of software releases. The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software products and updates.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage software release schedules and activities. - Coordinate release content and effort based on service requests, change tickets, and third-party applications. - Communicate release details and schedules to stakeholders. - Ensure release processes and documentation are followed. - Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality. - Conduct release readiness reviews and post-implementation reviews. - Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release management processes. - Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git). - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus.
