Platform Engineer / SRE / Hedge Fund / HFT / Equities / Fixed Income / Low-Latency / Hong Kong / Singapore
My client is a Tier 1 high-frequency trading firm with offices globally (North America, Europe, Asia). With technology driving their business forward, enabling them to generate year-on-year returns, they are now looking to expand their APAC team.
They are looking for a strong, seasoned reliability engineer to join their Hong Kong office.
:
Ensure availability, optimize performance, and automate systems for scalability.
Lead outage response, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes through engineering rigor.
Modernize stacks for security/efficiency while bridging dev-to-production gaps.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in financial services (excluding internships) Strong Python skills (Mandatory) Expertise in Linux, SQL, CI/CD pipelines Experience with cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and low-latency systems is a plus Based in Hong Kong or Singapore (no relocation)
