THE ROLE:
AMD Quality & Reliability team drives quality rigor across all phases of microprocessors manufacturing to meet or exceed customer expectations. The primary activity of the Singapore Reliability Lab is the component level reliability stress testing of the silicon and package, component/board level BGA rework and Electrical Testing on Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
We are expanding & currently looking for experienced candidates.
THE PERSON:
We are currently looking for a highly motivated Technician with strong communication skills & a team player mindset.
The ideal candidate will join a highly successful and growing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Equipment Maintenance & execute reliability stress tests on components
• Execute BGA rework (Demount BGAs from PCB, Deballing & Reballing)
• Perform Electrical Testing on Automated Test Equipment
• Perform electronic data entry and preliminary data analysis.
• Perform activities to improve efficiency & quality and reduce cost.
• Prepare, review & revise specifications in line with ISO & automotive requirements.
• Ensure compliance to ESD, Quality, EHS and SOX requirements.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Hands on working experience to perform Electrical Testing on Automated Test Equipment
• Hands on working experience to perform loading and unloading of semiconductor units (ASICs) in reliability ovens or any similar work.
• Hands on working experience to Deball or Reball BGA , Demount BGAs from PCB.
• Planning and undertaking scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Willing to work in 12hrs shift working pattern (3-4-3) during day time.
• Available for Over Time within stipulated guidelines
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Familiar with using MS office tools for daily work Excel, Power point, Word
• Preferably familiar with reliability stress tests on semiconductor units ( HTOL, Burn In, HAST, Reflow, Bake, Temp cycling, moisture soak, Vibration, Mechanical shock ) and ISO 9001 fundamentals.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• NTC/ITC in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with relevant experience
• Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / related science field with relevant experience
