This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking a future team member for the role of Analyst, Cash Processing/ Fund Transfer to join our Payments operations team. This role is located in Singapore, HYBRID.In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support payments processing. Liaise with internal teams for end-to-end payment processing and escalate issues when required. Investigate and resolve breaks in bank reconciliations
  • Monitor payment processing applications. Reviews and validates payments submitted through various channels (e.g., cheques, wire transfers) and perform voucher posting when required.
  • Prioritize high value and early cut-off payments.
  • Investigate and resolve client queries. Adhere to internal procedures, as well as compliance and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide inputs for quality improvements.
  • Monitor and highlight offshore processing team\xe2\x80\x99s performance.
  • Support balance monitoring for account maintained with Central bank.
  • Handle T-Bill settlements.
  • Handles monthly transaction reporting and regulatory reporting
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects, drills and MAS required data preparations.
  • Support Trade ops branch activities as a cross trained staff, if other Trade ops staff are on leave.
To be successful in this role, we\xe2\x80\x99re seeking the following:
  • Diploma or University degree
  • 2-3 years of finance related work experience
  • Good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Preferably familiar with basics of Trade operations.
