Reporting To: Director.





The Research and Business Development Manager is responsible for the end-to-end development, configuration, and deployment of AI-powered digital coaching systems focused on nutrition and lifestyle interventions. This role integrates nutritional science, behavioral change strategies, and AI technologies to deliver personalized, evidence-based guidance through messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram. The incumbent will contribute to the design of chatbot logic, training of AI models using real-world biometric and nutrition data (e.g., HRV, food logs), and integration of coaching content based on validated frameworks including Precision Nutrition and Deep Health methodologies.





This role is ideal for individuals with interdisciplinary interests in nutrition, user experience, and digital therapeutics, and plays a critical part in advancing MATION's mission to scale preventive health through intelligent coaching solutions.





To assist in overseeing the integration of biometric inputs (e.g., HRV, dietary logs) into algorithm development and coaching logic. Involve in the Supervision the design and refinement of conversational interfaces (Telegram/GPT) aligned with evidence-based behavior change models. To coordinate cross-functional teams (nutritionists, developers, UX designers) to prototype and test personalized coaching experiences. To establish data annotation standards and ensure quality of nutrition datasets used for AI training. To monitor user engagement metrics and translate insights into iterative product improvements. To ensure compliance with data privacy, health communication standards, and clinical relevance of content. To present project milestones, research findings, and deployment readiness to internal stakeholders and grant bodies.


Qualiifications:


Proven experience in adult health coaching, with a focus on data-driven interventions Skilled in designing and facilitating group education and wellness programs Strong public speaking and stakeholder engagement capabilities Diploma or higher qualification in Nutrition, Exercise Science, or related health field Certified in Standard First Aid (CPR/AED preferred) Holds advanced fitness or exercise credentials (e.g., Certified Personal Trainer) Trained in breathwork techniques and integration into digital health applications Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified with applied coaching experience or equv Experienced in cross-functional R&D, prototype testing, and AI-driven product development
