RESPONSIBILITIES

Building and maintaining a database of contacts. (Snowball) sampling. Conduct qualitative research with elderly residents and their caregivers. Transcribing interview data. Assisting the P.I. with the administrative management of the project. Other adhoc tasks that will contribute to the success of the project.

QUALIFICATIONS

An undergraduate (Bachelor's) or postgraduate (Master's) degree by the date of appointment. Have some experience conducting qualitative research in Singapore. Be organised, detail-oriented and motivated to learn. Possess language skills in Malay, Mandarin, Tamil (useful, but not required) to interact with research participants who might be more conversant in languages other than English. Have an interest in issues related to ageing, elderly care, everyday mobilities, urban infrastructure, etc.
