RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is for Lien Centre for Social Innovation (LCSI).
Research and Data Analysis
+ Assist in the administration and coordination of ongoing research projects.
+ Conduct literature reviews and synthesise findings to inform conceptual frameworks and research design.
+ Design and implement data collection tools such as surveys, interview guides, and fieldwork protocols.
+ Conduct quantitative data analysis using statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, or R) and qualitative analysis using tools such as NVIVO.
+ Contribute to the writing of research reports and journal articles. Fieldwork and Stakeholder Engagement
+ Support recruitment and management of research participants, including coordination with partner organisations and field sites.
+ Conduct interviews, focus groups, and simple surveys in community settings, when required.
+ Manage and mentor student researchers involved in LCSI projects.
+ Present research findings to internal and external stakeholders, including academic, policy, and practitioner audiences. Administrative and Knowledge Dissemination
+ Support administrative duties related to research activities, including ethics documentation, budgeting, and project tracking.
+ Assist in organising LCSI's events such as workshops. Any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant social science discipline (e.g., Sociology, Social Work, Economics, Psychology, Public Policy, Development Studies).
A Master's degree in a relevant social science field.
Demonstrated experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Familiarity with research and data tools such as NVivo, Qualtrics, Excel, and at least one statistical software (SPSS, Stata, or R).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and analytically for both academic and non-academic audiences.
Strong initiative, project coordination skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in multi-stakeholder environments.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and produce work that reflects maturity of thought and methodological rigour.
