The Research Assistant will be part of a dynamic team of researchers conducting research on multidisciplinary studies, including financial reporting quality, disclosure and transparency, organizational and personnel economics, and neuroeconomics.Key Responsibilities:Designing and managing data-collectionPerforming data cleaning and other quality checksDeveloping and applying machine-learning algorithms for the projectsUsing face recognition APIs to process imagesPerforming literature review and writing up summary reportsConducting data analyses and tablulating resultsPerforming other ad hoc administrative duties to support the research projectsJob Requirements:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or above, preferably with a background in both business and computer scienceAbility to parse data from websitesGood statistical knowledge and data analytics skillsFamiliarity with major data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Stata, SAS, etc.)In-depth knowledge of data mining, AI, and machine learning algorithmsGood ability in communicating data science models to general audiences using layman languagePreferably having experience with face recognition APIsExcellent command of the English language, as well as strong communication skills, is essential to conduct researchHigh degree of responsibility and maturityTeam player with a strong ability to adapt to new job tasks and collaborate with other colleagues as necessaryPreferably having strong interests in academic researchWe regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
