The Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disorders (CVMD) Programme houses state-of-the-art technologies for profiling mitochondrial function and metabolic adaptations in human patients and other model organisms, and undertakes translational and clinical research in cardiovascular and metabolic disorders.
We are recruiting a Research Assistant for Prof Stuart Cook's laboratory. Prof Cook's research studies focus on Interleukin 11, a factor that is critical for organ fibrosis and dysfunction. The team is working on translating basic science to pave the way for future treatment for patients with fibro-inflammatory diseases.
The selected candidate will perform a variety of functions related to research under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or his/her designate, including but not limited to the following: -
