Our client, a renowned healthcare institution in Singapore with a rich history. Located in the Queenstown area, AH is well-known for its patient-centered approach to care, providing comprehensive medical services across a wide range of specialties. The hospital is also recognized for its unique model of integrated care, where patients receive continuity of treatment through a "one patient, one doctor" approach.They are current hiring for a Research Assistant (Healthcare Redesign) until Sep 2025.

• Salary : $3,200 - $4,200 (depending on experience and qualification)
• Working Days and Hours: Mondays - Fridays, 8.30am to 6.00pm
• Location of work: Alexandra (nearest Commonwealth MRT)

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize existing relevant speech datasets as well as newly collected speech datasets.
• Write python scripts for data loading, training speech recognition models and inference.
• Develop a web interface for real-time access of the trained model.
• Participate in testing and validation of developed technologies in clinical settings to ensure efficacy and safety.
• Contribute to writing scientific papers, reports and grant proposals.
• Support project team in daily administrative tasks and project management and project management activities.

Requirements:

• Singapore Only
• Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficient in neural networks frameworks such as pytorch.
• Preferably experienced in automatic speech recognition topics.
• Speech or Audio research experience, with publication submissions for relevant conferences such as ICASSP or Interspeech.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Prior exposure to or interest in healthcare and clinical applications will be an added advantage.
