The Tropical Marine Science Institute (TMSI) of National University of Singapore (NUS) has a new vacancy in the area of environmental impact assessment of alternative marine fuel spills into the marine environment.
The Project \xe2\x80\x9cMitigation Technology and Environmental Impact from Ammonia Bunkering Release\xe2\x80\x9d has been funded for 27 months by Singapore Maritime Institute to a consortium of R&D Institutions in Singapore. The successful candidate will be working with a multidisciplinary team of atmosphere and marine biology scientists, and particularly be responsible for development of quantitative methods of accidental ammonia spills and fate in the marine environment.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team in conducting an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) research on ammonia bunkering. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of researchers and industry experts to conduct primary and secondary research on the environmental impacts of ammonia bunkering, and help develop mitigation strategies for potential negative impacts.
