Research Assistant (physics/optical Engineering/photonics)
Job Description
The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at NTU is seeking a motivated Research Assistant to join our dynamic team working on frontier research in ultrafast femtosecond laser science.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup, operate, and maintain advanced femtosecond laser experimental systems.
Perform optical measurements and data acquisition for research projects.
Analyze experimental data using computational tools.
Assist in laboratory management and contribute to scholarly publications.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Physics, Optical Engineering, Photonics, or related field.
Hands-on experience with optics/laser labs and strong experimental skills.
Proficiency in programming for data analysis (Python/MATLAB).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
A keen interest in ultrafast science and photonics research.
