The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is looking for a Research Assistant who will assist with ongoing projects on public policy, particularly behavioural public policy that draws insights from behavioural economics and psychology. Responsibilities could include (but is not limited to):

Job Responsibilities

  • Scoping and collating literature reviews
  • Support for grant applications and administration
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of human subject ethics protocols
  • Preparing questionnaires/survey instruments
  • Collecting, cleaning, formatting and analysing primary/secondary data
  • Assist with the editing and preparation of documentation and manuscripts relating to related projects
  • Assisting with events associated with research projects, such as planning and hosting conferences and workshops
Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor\'s degree in the social sciences
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Keen interest in behavioural public policy
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Independent, enthusiastic and attentive to details
  • Familiarity with statistical software, such as R, SPSS, Stata or data visualization software such as Tableau, will be a plus
  • Prior experience in a research role will be preferred
