About our client: Our client is a manufacturer and sales of Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) and Polypropylene (PP) company.About the Role: The selected candidate will join the Research & Development Section equipped with advanced and comprehensive laboratory facilities and assist the Chemist in product development projects. Assist in the research and development of Polypropylene and Polyethylene products for value added applications. Schedule and carry out day-to-day activities for product design projects to meet the targets for new product development. Assist Chemist to carry out commissioning and method development for new equipment and improve existing testing methods. Play a major role in the smooth operation of the R&D laboratory by actively involving in regular maintenance of equipment, preparation and revision of operating procedures, maintaining excellent housekeeping and all activities related to Health, Safety & Environment.About you: Applicants should possess a Degree in Chemical/Polymer/Material Engineering or Chemistry. Applicants who have a Diploma in Chemical Process/Material Technology with several years experience in the Polymer Industry will also be considered. Experience in polymer material processing and testing will be an added advantage.
