As a Research Assistant in the School of Medicine, you will be one of the key members of our research projects. You will assist faculty and research teams with data analysis, system development, model building, and management of research projects. If you have a background in computer science and a strong interest in medicine and large language models, this position may be ideal for you.Responsibilities:Participate in data collection and analysisParticipate in building models that combined with LLMs and XAIAssist in developing and maintaining systemsConduct a user studyAssist in dissemination of projects, including publishing in peer reviewed scientific journals and popular science publications and presentationsParticipate in the writing of relevant research proposals for the application of fundsJob RequirementsThe candidate should possess Bachelor degree from a recognized universityPreferably with relevant research experience and/or industrial backgroundKnowledge and experience in interdisciplinary areas would be an advantage: computer science and medicineProven experience in managing AI or tech development projects, preferably in healthcare.Team player with self-motivation and able to work independentlyStrong interests in applied research and development workExcellent written and spoken EnglishGood communication skillsEnsure successful internal and external collaboration in a variety of modes, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, virtual meetings, and written communicationStrong interest in AI and medicine fieldsHiring Institution: LKC
