Psychological Service Branch/ Special Educational Needs Div-(RA) from 30 Jul to 30 Dec 23.

Supporting External Services Team and the areas of work may include:

1. Data collection, analysis and reporting of research and ongoing projects for students with special educational needs (SEN) such as dyslexia, hearing loss, and physical or visual impairment.

2. Conducting literature scan for supporting students with SEN, to contribute to the refinement of service quality indicators.

3. Planning and carrying out interviews and surveys with school personnel and others who support students with SEN.

Communicating information to Team members or school personnel, through emails or presentations. Approximately 5 months (1) RA - Mons to Thurs: 8.30 am to 6pm.

Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, 1hr lunch break.

RA should be familiar with data collection and analysis methods and conducting of literature scan, summarising and presenting information from research articles.

He/she would preferably be able to work independently, and monitor his/her own progress, submit work on time and to work with others well.

He/She should be able to craft emails and information, nuanced for targeted audience and present information to a team of people with clarity. The RA shall preferably:

• Have a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) or Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Psychology,

• Have at least 1 year of experience in conducting statistical data analysis, reviewing literature/ journals on edatabases,

• Be proficient in Excel and able to systematically manage and analyse data and summarise key findings from data
