As part of NTU\xe2\x80\x99s College of Engineering, MSE is now recognised worldwide as a premier research institution with top universities, multinational corporations and R&D institutions as its research collaborators and funding partners.The Role is a research centric role looking at pushing boundaries of next generation energy storage device.Key Responsibilities:Novel ways of materials synthesis and characterization for advanced batteriesFabrication, characterization and optimization of batteries in new form factorsPrecipitation, characterization and purity analysis of products by various characterization techniquesCarry out optimization of the equipment and SOP of various processes for batteries fabrication.Prototyping activities including proof of concept demonstration of successful processes.Responsible for project goals, deliverables, and objectives of the company projectPreparing and delivering Meeting presentations, notes, updates, and reports as per the request of the projectLab responsibility and safety standardsJob Requirements:Candidate must possess at least a Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering /Science (Materials/Chemical/Mechanical/Nanotechnology/Physics/Chemistry or equivalent)Experience in extraction methods of metals from batteriesExperience in prototyping of batteries and working with various battery systems.Widely experience in various materials synthesis techniquesExperienced in materials characterization, electrochemical battery fabricationAbility to conceptualize and communicate research work to other staff, management, and visitorsKnowledge of scientific or materials engineering software will be an added advantage.Prior experience in the field of research is an added advantageAn effective team player with good communication & interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team as well as independently.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
