Job Description
:
- This position is for College of Integrative Studies (CIS).
- Urban Climate Design (Climate and Densification).
- Assist in analyzing existing literature on urban climate design with respect to climate and densification.
- Assist in fieldwork for obtaining data for climate model validation.
- Assist in writing technical reports for the CS2.0 project.
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Architecture, Building, Ecology, Engineering, Geography, Sustainability Sciences).
- Documented expertise in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods (e.g. a submitted honours dissertation or final year project) is preferred.
- Proficient in programming languages (e.g. Python and R), data analysis, statistical methods, data visualization and knowledge (or willingness) to learn of PALM-4U. - Willingness to learn (e.g. about microclimate urban modelling) in a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborate with other team members.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to producing high-quality research.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
