Research Associate (lavender Project)
Job Description
A Research Associate position is currently available in the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute - Biotechnology.
Key Responsibilities
Work synergistically with PI/Co-PI on conducting experiments, troubleshooting and data analysis.
Performing experimental work (e.g., bench-top setups and reactors, collection of data, preparation of results) for various water treatment projects with under guidance of research fellows.
Operating basic analytical instruments (e.g. fluorescence meters, automated analysers, etc.) and other laboratory hardware.
Writing or contributing to publications or disseminating research findings using the media appropriate to the respective area of discipline/expertise.
Job Requirements
Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Environmental science/engineering, Chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering or relevant fields.
Knowledge and experience in environment science/engineering projects, in particular operation of bench-scale laboratory equipment for experimental purposes
Good written and oral skills in English for effective communication/collaboration with international workgroup.
Highly driven, organized & able to work independently and within a team.
