MIC testing o Strain Engineering o Peptide Discovery
Location:
Singapore (on-site lab)
Company overview
Innotide Biotech
is a Singapore-based startup advancing peptide innovations for skin and microbiome health. We combine rapid discovery workflows with practical, scale-aware development in a
joint lab setting with leading public-sector research partners (incl. A*STAR SIFBI at Biopolis)
. Our culture is hands-on, data-driven, and fast--built for people who like clear goals, clean experiments, and real-world impact.
Role overview
We're hiring
2-3 researchers
(Master's preferred; exceptional undergrads welcome) to build and run workflows for
antimicrobial peptide discovery
,
microbial strain engineering
, and
MIC-based efficacy evaluation
. You'll follow SOPs, help improve them, and turn results into next-step decisions.
What you'll do
MIC & susceptibility testing:
set up plates, run controls, read endpoints, and maintain reproducible records.
Strain engineering:
design/assemble constructs, transform/screen colonies, and maintain well-characterized strains.
Peptide discovery support:
prepare/handle candidates for screening and track basic properties and stability.
Documentation & QC:
maintain ELN/SOPs, uphold safety and data integrity, and contribute to continuous improvements.
Teamwork:
coordinate handoffs with analytics and present concise progress updates.
