Research Associate (satellite Iot)
Job Description
SCRIPTS specialises in privacy-preserving technologies (PP-Tech) that are computing techniques used to preserve individuals privacy while allowing maximum value and insight to be extracted from available data.
Our centre is seeking to hire a Research Associate to build the IoT hardware platform and design new framework and optimization algorithm for satellite IoT systems.
:
Design and develop hardware systems for IoT
Participate academic activities
Assist in on-site experiments and data acquisition in application environment
Develop algorithms for spectrum optimization, blockchain and edge computing
Publish high-level academic papers
Collaborate with other team members to build satellite IoT testing systems and draft research report
Key Requirements:
Master or PhD degree in engineering or science
Have experience in publishing high-level academic papers
Good skills in hardware design and C/C++ programming
Knowledge in machine learning or IoT will be an advantage
Ability to work independently and contribute to the whole team
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
