Job Title: Research Assistant

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our dynamic team working on multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs), emerging infectious diseases, transmission dynamics, and other hospital infection prevention and control (IPC).
You will play a key role in supporting new and ongoing projects including participant recruitment, sample and data collection, documentation as well as support other general administrative tasks related to team operations.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Research * Screen and recruit participants for research studies including scheduling and coordinating study visits

• Maintain screening logs, sample collection logs, study investigator files and other essential documents pertaining to all research studies and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirement
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot any equipment used in research activities
• Assist Research Fellow and Principal investigator in preparing study protocols, ethics submissions, manuscripts and any related research documentation

Administrative support * Support day to day project coordination, meetings and team operations

• Assist in record-keeping, filing and management of study documentation

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, life sciences, nursing, biomedical engineering or a related field

EXPERIENCE

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Fresh graduates with interest in research are welcome to apply
